BETTY STOLAR
ABOUT
Betty Stolar is an actress and filmmaker based in Pittsburgh, PA.
She got her start in film when she created her first film Cage of Bones at the age of 16. She was a finalist in the Capturing Motion NYC 2018 part of the Dance On Camera Film Festival presented by Film Society of Lincoln Center and Dance Films Association.
She began acting in the fall of 2020 to gain more film experience and to learn filmmaking from a new perspective, however her love for film soon grew into her love for acting. She has since acted in over a dozen independent and student films.
She most recently starred as Pickles in the feature film I Want to Live on Mars.
Betty is a passionate director and writer and has producing, editing, assistant camera, grip, gaffing, and special effects makeup experience.
She is currently in post-production of her films For Finley & It's Never Over which she has written, directed and produced. Both films will be released in 2023.
Whether she is in front of, behind the camera, or both, she knows her future will be in film.
